Set in 1879, Felicie, a poor orphan girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina, but lacks any formal training, leaves rural Brittany and goes to Paris, where she assumes the identity of a spoiled girl and becomes a dance student at the Paris Opera. She finds her training, and making friends at the ballet school among her ruthless fellow-students, to be very difficult. The mysterious caretaker at the Paris Opera, Odette, and a young inventor, Victor, help her to face the challenges. She follows her passion and works hard to turn her dreams into reality.
