The saga continues as Award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve finishes what he started with “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune. Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya). He is on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
A bunch of familiar faces, including Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard and Charlotte Rampling are back for a second round. There will be plenty of new faces among the cast too. Part Two will see Elvis star Austin Butler as the evil Feyd-Rautha, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV and Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot.

The ghost with the most is about to be summoned into theaters once again! Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara and director Tim Burton reunite 36 later (yikes) for the sequel to the 1988 classic. If we speak of some absolutely good movies in the gothic horror-comedy space, Beetlejuice remains a beloved one, and it has a cult following to date, surely Beetlejuicc Beetlejuice will too. Scream queen Jenna Ortega will be joining the cast as Astrid Deetz, Lydia Deetz’s daughter. Monica Bellucci will also appear in the movie alongside Justin Theroux and Willem Dafoe.

Treading a different step as a musical fantasia with non other than Lady Gaga stepping into the role of Harley Quinn. Little is known about the plot aside from the fact it chronicles the moment Arthur Fleck and Harley Quinn fall in love at Gotham City’s Arkham Asylum. Folie a Deux (the film’s official title) actually translates to “madness of two”. It refers to shared psychosis in which delusion or mental illness is shared by two people in close association.

Ryan Reynolds returns as Wade Wilson, the wise-ass mercenary who constantly breaks the fourth wall. Meanwhile he’s joined by Hugh Jackman, reprising his iconic role of Wolverine. Multiple stars return from the first Deadpool films, including Wade’s best friend, Blind Al, played by Leslie Uggams. Also returning is Karan Soni as the soft-spoken taxi-driver Dopinder. Morena Baccarinwill also be returning as Vanessa, Wade Wilson’s fiancée. The upcoming Marvel movie will see Wolverine in the process of recuperating from his wounds when he encounters the outspoken Deadpool. Together, they join forces to take down a mutual adversary.

WICKED Best films to watch in 2024

One of Broadway’s most beloved musicals is finally getting the Hollywood treatment. Wicked, the Tony Award winning musical based on Gregory Maguire 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, offers an alternative perspective on the events of The Wizard of Oz. The musical follows their journey from mutually loathing roommates at Shiz University to unlikely friends. All the while, the two women fall for the same man, party boy Fiyero.
Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians), directs the highly anticipated project and has found his Elphaba and Glinda in Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Bridgerton star Jonathan Baily will play Fiyero. Michelle Yeoh will play Madam Morrible, the headmistress of Shiz University and Jeff Godburn will play the Wizard.
