Covid 19 Safety Measures

In accordance with the state government’s Covid 19 guidelines we have made some changes and implemented some new procedures to ensure you will be safe and comfortable during your visit to the Sun. These include;

Vaccination Requirements
To comply with the Victorian Government Public Health Order, all customers and staff aged 12 years and 2 months + will be required to show evidence of compliance with current double dose vaccination requirements. (Children under 12 years and 2 months will be able to come to Cinema provided the adult that attends with them is double dosed vaccinated).

 Acceptable proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status are:

• COVID-19 Digital Certificate via the Services Victoria app

• COVID-19 Digital Certificate save to a smart phone

• Printed copy of COVID-19 Digital Certificate together with photo ID

• Printed copy of Immunisation History Statement together with photo ID

• Eligible proof of vaccination exemption

Face Masks
Patrons are not required to wear masks. Face masks are mandatory for staff.

Physical Distancing
In line with government guidelines we have placed 1.5m distancing markers in high traffic areas.

Cinema Capacity
Cinema capacity is now at 100%.

Temperature Screening
Contactless temperature screening upon entry.

Sanitising Stations
Sanitising stations are available to all our patrons.

Increased Cleaning
Heightened cleaning regimes and regular common surface disinfection.

Online Bookings
Online bookings are encouraged not only to help with social distancing but to ensure your ticket!

Contactless Payment
Contactless payment is encouraged for candy bar and ticket purchases.

Staff  Wellness
Staff have been instructed not to come to work if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.  All staff have completed a strict COVID-19 safe training program.

Patron Wellness
If you are feeling unwell and are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 please do not enter the premises.
