As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2026, Restaurant Navi, Rothwell Distillery and the Sun Theatre invite you to experience The Menu Degustation.

Join the best of Melbourne’s West at the historical art deco Sun Theatre for a screening of 2022 fine dining thriller – The Menu.

The coincidence of Julian Hills of two hatted Restaurant Navi and Chef Julian’s (Ralph Fiennes) name is where the similarity of the evenings will end. The event will feature Navi x Rothwell gin cocktails and a tailored evening of Navi dishes throughout the film. The immersive experience will start with a cocktail on arrival and another at intermission.  Food will include the Navi’s signature Black Garlic and Salmon Roe Macaron as well as a play on the iconic Sun Theatre Choc Top by Julian and a host of savoury and dishes in between.

Julian from Navi, Tim from Rothwell and Michael of The Sun will discuss their thoughts on this iconic film, the fine dining experience and the rise of the West in Melbourne’s food and culture scene.  In what’s set to be a unique,  provocative and fun evening, we are looking forward to hosting and demonstrating what we all know – West is Best… Yes Chef!
