An idealistic reformer, Pasha, is in love with and marries Lara but begins swinging toward left extremism. Lara and Zhivago come together during the war in a field hospital where Lara was searching for her missing Pasha. During those 6 months, radical change ensues throughout Russia as Vladimir Lenin arrives in Moscow.
