A genuine 60’s style movie trip, made in 1971, a feature-length documentary film that places the Apollo program in some historical context and captures the mood and the feel of the people on Earth when man first walked on another celestial body all to a psychedelic soundtrack. Opening dramatically with Stonehenge, the film is a time capsule, with the film making style of the era, when the Moon program was still in operation, rather than all other films which look back on it historically. Fascinating viewing, a reminder please that smoking in the cinema is not allowed, but you can always bring your own cookies.
